Rydal Cottage (Min 2 night stay)
"We had a beautiful stay with our doggie. The cottage was very comfortable with gorgeous gardens, with a doggie friendly pub for dinner just down the road. Wonderful host also, thank you."

Eagle View Escape
"A beautiful, peaceful getaway for couples. Stayed 2 nights and seemed like the perfect timeframe to go for, would highly recommend! Only thing to note would be the road coming onto the property has A LOT of potholes; if you have a sedan or lower car, just be careful or maybe plan ahead."

The Carrington Hotel
"Hotel is just old and looks like they tried hard to maintain but the room is quite dated. The shower leaks and the floor squeaks. And the elevator is so old and slow that we decide to carry our luggages up second floor. Very old hotel in a sleepy town. And they don’t serve dinner on Sunday nor ..."

Comfort Resort Leura Gardens
"Check in was great with great instructions on how to get to the room. Room was a little barren, but ok, however the bathroom had mould in it and the water pressure was terrible. Bad when the temp is under 10 degrees. Not a terrible experience, but not great."

The Hydro Majestic Hotel
"The staff looked sullen and bored, dripping tap in the very old fashioned bathroom, tiny room, not even a box of tissues and wardrobe space for about two items. Nothing major but felt tired and cheap. I wouldn’t go again."

Hotel Blue & Cottages, Katoomba
"We were there for a winter stay, so the heating from the aircon was greatly appreciated. The continental breakfast which was included in the price was copious, with different breads, muffins, crumpets, and jam, marmalade and honey as well as fruit juices and a good choice of cereals. Organic teas and instant coffee were provided. Espresso coffee was available for an additional charge. There was a comfortable and roomy lounge, a little chilly in winter, but we can imagine it would be really great in summer. We still spent an hour or so each evening playing Scrabble with our friends and other guests used it as well. Staff are not available in the evening (though there is an emergency telephone number), but when we had two small problems (one of our own making) in the afternoon they were quick to help. We hope to be back another time."
