Cool house.Read listing and reviews before booking

Overall, I would stay my stay was positive. A few Pros…Lots of space! Everyone in my family had their own area in the house. The balcony was so nice to sit and relax on. One morning while drinking coffee on the balcony, some deer came right up. The house had several books and games for entertainment. The area is very quiet. Cons… There is no air conditioning. The listing for the house did not explicitly say that there was no AC. It was only explicitly stated after you booked the house. The listing says 3 bathrooms but one of the bathrooms does not have a shower head in it. That means you can only take a bath. It is one of the “master” bedrooms upstairs. The house was well loved but clean for the most part. The previous people who stayed left a used towel in the bathroom and whoever cleaned didn’t see it. I didn’t appreciate having to move someone’s used towel. You are supposed to put all towels in the downstairs bathroom before you checkout but I feel whoever cleaned should have noticed the towel hanging on the door. The downstairs bedroom didn’t have a ceiling fan and was a bit hot in the early evening. The beds were okay but the pillows were mostly old and not comfortable anymore. You can tell that the owners really tried to make this house comfortable and accommodating. A few minor tweaks to the house’s amenities and an updated listing would make the house even better. The company that manages the listing was very prompt in replying to a question I had.
