We had a great stay at Hotel Paba. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great and was much appreciated on a hot day. For being on such a busy street, it was very quiet at night. The staff were friendly, checked in with us before our trip to make sure we had details ready, and were very helpful in suggesting nearby restaurants for different meals. We would stay again!

Building was 100 years old and the lift was the same. A little scary. Not a conventional hotel. No after hour staff, no lobby, no real concierge, with hours for help. Room air conditioning was fantastic, ice cold air on hot days. Roma were modernized but we’re not happy here we’re no drawers or closet for hanging up close, just a small rickety open metal frame. Had to live out of suitcase. It does have g good size safe and there was tons of restaurants and gelato shops within short walking distance. Also only 10 minute walk to colosseum.

Hotel Paba is an absolute gem, and we couldn't have asked for a better base for our Roman holiday. Its location is truly unbeatable; you can literally walk to the Colosseum and Roman Forum in about 10 minutes, and the Cavour metro station is also just a short stroll away, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the entire city. The hotel itself is charming and well-maintained. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had all the modern amenities we needed, including excellent air conditioning and a great bathroom—essentials for a summer trip to Rome. What truly elevated our stay was the staff. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, offering fantastic restaurant recommendations and advice on navigating the city. Their personal touches and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home and truly enhanced our experience.
