The location of this flat is excellent, right in the heart of everything, about halfway between Piazza del Popolo and the Spanish Steps on Via del Babuino. There are many shops and restaurants nearby and it’s an upscale part of town with many high-end stores. Taxis and Ubers are easy, and you’re close enough to walk almost anywhere.The flat itself was very comfortable. There are two bedrooms, one with two twin beds and a small sofa, the other with one large bed. Since there were 4 of us and only 3 beds, two people had to share the big bed as the sofa is too short for sleeping. The arrangement would be fine for a small family. There is no living room or any other sofa but there is a dining room with a square table and 4 sturdy chairs, so this is where we usually sat. The kitchen is sufficient and stocked, but we did not use it very much other than to store and reheat our leftovers. The bathroom is adequate with a good shower and enough towels. A washer and dryer in the flat is very convenient, and we made good use of these machines. The listing advertises AC but I think the host told us they are only for heat, not cooling. We didn’t need it as it was cool enough in early May to just open the windows.Check in was very easy and accommodating, and communication was great. A host met us at the flat when we arrived from the airport, gave us our keys and door code, showed us around the flat, and also gave us a map, a list of nearby restaurants and stores, and a bottle of wine!
