Charming INDEED!

Amazing stay. It was the most convenient location you could imagine. Everyday our room was cleaned, there was a restocked refrigerator and for breakfast there are always fresh croissants. If you are going to be out in the morning before 8am just let them know that you won't be there to get the croissants so they don't order them. I really enjoyed our room. They also provided a bed for our toddler. Easy to get to. Take the bus from the airport then an taxi (free now) from the train station. After that the train is but a short walk away. Everyone there making your stay the best were the friendliest people you will ever meet.

This was a super place to stay . Quiet, beautiful , very clean, modern with character …. They made sure I was comfortable and their car service from the airport to the hotel ( 60 euros which is not bad at all ) was a real help to get there . I will stay there again, beautiful and safe area close to everything’s .

We enjoyed our stay at Charming Roma. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Good place to stay as walking distance for sight seeing. The property was nice and clean and looked like it had been recently refurbished.

Chic small clean comfortable modern guest house with 6 rooms and small terrace where you could have the continental breakfast provided in your rooms with mini bar having fresh fruit, yoghurts, orange juices, water alongside tea and coffee and fresh croissant of your choice . Close to ottaviano metro / Vatican area and nice trattorias nearby . Don’t expect a hotel but great value and friendly English speaking hostess- not always on site but uses WhatsApp to communicate when needed/ reply to questions /advise codes to get in. Happy to organise taxi pick ups to /from airport if required.

The guesthouse is conveniently located in Prati, closer to Vatican City than to the rest of the tourist areas. A bit more residential. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The guesthouse is quite noisy, you hear everyone checking-in/out, entering and exiting the property, opening the rooms, vacuuming, etc. Does not feel very private. Beds and pillows could be of better quality. Bathroom is very very small, specially the shower.

Lorenza is absolutely wonderful. She is communicative and truly cares for her guests. She accommodated our request for a larger bed and was so helpful in providing guidance and directions. The property is safe, quiet and cozy, very clean and comfortable. It is centrally located near Vatican and many other walkable sites and shopping. Each room has a fridge and is stocked with water, fruit and yogurt and she brings your choice of fresh croissants daily. I will book this location again if we return. Admittedly this was my first B&B experience. Based on movies and the reviews I expected it to be our B&B dream. For starters, the location shown on the map was different than where it is not a huge deal. I expected it to be closer to city center of Rome though. We were charged additional fees even though the taxes and fees were to be included per Expedias usual guidelines. The check in was difficult because the staff could not speak any English. A/C was expected to only be on if we really needed it. When we would leave each day, staff would turn the A/C off so we always came back to a hot room after walking around the city all day in high 90 degree heat. Expect to bring your own soap and conditioner. Since staff couldn’t understand English-it was easier to just go buy what we needed. If the person staying in the room next to you in a snorer, expect to hear that quite well. The TV only goes to volume 10 which does little to drown out the noise of other guests. Also there’s only 3 English channels and they are news. Sadly you won’t be able to hear it because the English channels are much quieter than the others- turning on Closed Caption isn’t an option. All in all it’s a good, safe, clean place to spend the night. No one interacts here and there’s no sweet person to have a conversation with. So if you’re looking alone and quiet about 2.5 mi from things to do, this place is for you. Don’t eat the restaurant across the street that says it’s been open since 1922- it’s tasteless
