The bed was the worst....like spings were poking up . We both had terrible backaches every morning. The room was pretty out dated. The pool was very cloudy. And the steps to get down into pool are very steep and only one hand rail to get into pool. Which made it very difficult for a senior citizen and scary to get in and out of pool. Each step is too high and only 3 steps...the pool needs work. The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was very good and alot of choices. And overall the rooms and all of hotel area were clean....

This was a disappointing stay. Big gaps in the door led to lots of light streaming into the room from the hallway all night long. The gap then allowed us to hear every single door in the hall slamming as people headed off to breakfast in the morning. Bathroom is mega tiny and the door had nasty water damage on the bottom- above the big gap from the floor to the door. I'm not sure how water got that high?? Front desk person was very friendly at check-in and when we went back down 20 minutes later to buy a drink, her contra-character emerged... rude, impatient, annoyed that we would bother her with wanting a drink. It was bizarre. Entrance to the hotel smelled like cigarette smoke so badly that I thought maybe I had chosen a smoking hotel on accident. Beds were lumpy from age a bit but okay. This was my first Wingate by Wyndham and will be my last. Felt like a 2 star at best, 1 star hotel in some points.

We stayed here traveling through town and had a birthday party for my daughter while there. Everyone from the manager on the phone beforehand to the staff for the entire weekend was helpful and amazing! I’d give 10 stars if I could….

Looks like the property was fully renovated with new clean carpet floor, our room is very clean and new bathroom/tub. Breakfast is good with some hot food choices. There’s unlimited tea/coffee provided by the hotel. Location is very close to a lot of restaurants and shops. Less than 30 mins drive to downtown Pittsburgh. Will definitely comeback and recommend this place.

The rooms are nice and clean. Nice breakfast in am. Just wish it was form 6 to 10 instead of 9. Pool is clean as well as hot tub. Again i wosh pool hours were til 11pm instead of 10. Overall very nice and convient place to stay

Room was not necessarily dirty, but felt old, dark and dated with some simple updates in an effort to make it more appealing. Couch was old and worn and tub must have been the original. No streaming on the TV. Front desk person was fine, once she got off a long call and finally acknowledged my arrival. We didn't stay. Ate the first night's charge (understandably) and were refunded the second.
