Très belle propriété bien situé. Communication fluide avec le propriétaire. Cuisine bien équipée. Lit très confortable. Propre mais pour des non fumeurs nous avons remarqué une odeur de cigarette dans le logis.

Good value stay for the price. Great location to canal restaurants and marais shopping. Place is on a relatively quiet street close to many ethnic restaurants and nice cafes and shops. The unit has an eccentric layout but still charming and cozy. It’s open plan and two levels so if noise and privacy is important take note. Definitely lived in feel not brand new or modern. The host was very communicative and friendly. Easy to contact and accommodated our slightly early arrival.

Wonderful stay in great neighborhood with helpful host!

Our group of four had such a wonderful stay at the Tropicool duplex! The duplex is centrally located, extremely well decorated (chic and a little quirky, with the bonus of many art books and theoretical texts in both French and English), structurally interesting (a double-floor window in the main bedroom, plenty of light in the entryway through a unique ceiling skylight), and helped us step into another world and feel like locals. The space was clean, thoughtfully stocked, and very comfortable. The surrounding neighborhood felt lively but relaxed, with easy access to shops, cafes, and transit. Chauveau is also generous and friendly: he provided everything we needed and was very communicative throughout our stay. We’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it wholeheartedly.
