Great condo-exercise required.

Loved the layout of the condo & area. Will not come back due to chore of getting luggage from garage to room AND ridiculously slow elevators!!!! We took the steps A LOT!! Blackout curtains needed in one bedroom & dishwasher detergent door did not open!

Spring Break

Loved everything!!! The condo was very nice!! The bed was the most comfortable sleep i have ever had!! Great view!! Lived the beach and the beach services. We had an awesome stay!! 100% recommended. The elevators did take 4ever to get on sometimes, but overall perfect!!

Girl's Trip 2023

We had 7 women on our trip ranging from ealry 30's to early 40's and it was amazing! Tidewater is in the best location and has every amenity you can think of. The condo was plenty big enough for our group and super comfy. The elevators do have a wait, especially during peak hours, but being on the 5th floor made it easy to take the stairs! The staff was amazing and always friendly and helpful. Loved the pools and hot tubs and tiki bar. We had horrible weather and water the whole time while we were there but we still had the best time! Definitely would recommend this condo! Thanks for the amazing memories!!!!

The condo was nice but could use a deep clean. The carpet in the bedrooms was old and very dirty. The elevator was loud. The pillows on the bed smelled of another persons head. We washed the pekoe cases and laid the pillows on the balcony in the sun

Condo was great how ever the elevators were awful! 10 to 15 min wait every day..

Condo was beautiful. Clean. Great views. Check in the lady was not a happy person kind of crappy. The elevators sucked 10 to 15 min wait every day but over all the stay was nice. However I would not stay again only because the elevators were slow.. if they would upgrade the elevators I'd be happy to stay again. Never in my life been anywhere where the elevators were that slow

Great amenities and location!

Very good location, on the beach. Unit just across from elevator. Resort has people helping on elevators to assist at peak times. Only had to use stairs s few times during the week stay. Unit has a great layout and was clean. Problem with loud freezer was addressed immediately. Could use some updates, but overall a great unit.

Room was NOT clean and refrigerator made a horrible noise!

Walking into the condo, it was not clean! There was something on the toilet seat in one bathroom, sand in the living room floor, kitchen counters were dirty, hair in the showers. We contacted the number on Sunday morning as we arrived very late Saturday. We did not hear back from them so I emailed to let the owners know ( the room is managed by a condo rental service). On Monday morning we finally got a phone call back letting us know someone was coming to clean. Unfortunately, we had already cleaned the floors and bathrooms because it was so nasty. On Tuesday we woke up to a noise coming from the refrigerator/ freezer that sounded like someone was drilling into our wall. We called the condo service again and said they were aware of this noise and would see if they could get someone there to look at it. A technician came and said that it could not be fixed and needed to be replaced. We called the service to let them know but nothing was done. For 4 nights we had to deal with this! The manager of the company was supposed to call us back to get the issue fixed and never did. The noise was so loud that our children could not sleep in the bunk beds or in the living room. We have stayed at the Tidewater resort numerous times and have always loved it. This was by far the worst experience!!!!!! The condo service (FourStar) staff are very rude and unprofessional. Very disappointed.

We came down with our kids. The property was nice and we loved it was on the 5th floor. When the elevators were slow we could just take the stairs. I also enjoyed the fact we got wristbands to access the property.

Excellent Property

Excellent property location. We had a wonderful time during our week. Only downside was the elevators at times were very slow and long wait but fortunately with this property on the 5th floor the stairs were not bad as a back up option. We enjoyed being so close to the beach and pier park.

Great family week!

We had another great week! This is our second time staying in this unit, and just as last year it was great. The weather did not cooperate this week, only got one good beach day, but that has nothing to do with the quality of the unit and it’s location! Sad to be leaving, but we will return.

Family Vacation

Not as pictured!!

Elevators are terrible! Luckily we were only on the 5th floor and were able to use the stairs most of the time because the elevators took too long. Pictures on the website are misleading. Unit 511 was not near as new and clean as pictured. The runner by the door and the carpets need cleaning. The beach was amazing and the location is good, just disappointed in the quality of the unit. I won’t be back to Tidewater.

Check-in process and elevators are horrible

While I gave a 4 star rating for the categories listed, the two worst things about my stay are enough for me to never go back. For the volume of people this building can accommodate, there are not enough elevators or check-in areas. First, you have to park across the street and cross over on the second floor only. Obviously, this requires taking the parking garage elevator to the second floor. Then you have to wait in a very long line at the check-in area (only 3 workers most of the time) to check out a cart to go back through the garage process and unload your car. Once your car is unloaded, you have a good 20-30 minute wait to get an elevator to your floor. Even though there are working controlling each elevator, it is a very SLOW process. At almost any time of day the elevator will be slow and your lucky if you only wait 5-10 minutes for one to arrive. In my opinion, it is a poorly designed building and not able to accommodate the volume of people will book to capacity. My recommendation for any future condo is to try and stay on the first few floors so that you can take the stairs if you end up in a building with elevators that cannot keep up with the demand.
