Desk clerk kept Expedia customer service supervisor on hold for 20 minutes before i had to step in and insist that he help me and take the phone call. Had i not insisted for him to open the call he would have had me wait an additional 10 minutes which would have made me wait 30 minutes and probably forced the Expedia supervisor to drop the call.

Dirty room bad customer service

The first room I was in had a roach in it and I had to gather my stuff with a my 4 month old son and move in the middle of the night. The next room smelled as if a cat had sprayed all over the room. The check in is horrible and charges $100 incidental while the conditions are not satisfactory. The elevators are not safe. Every time you take the elevator the doors malfunction or it sounded like it was grinding against the elevator shaft.

Short commute to manhattan for half the price and twice the space- we liked the spacious room with sofa bed and the bathroom was very clean - room was quiet - breakfast we copious but very busy and long line for the self made waffles. The only thing that was very inconvenient was the long time to wait for the elevators with a very busy hotel. Many people were complaining - we ended up using the stairs even if our room was on the 11th floor.

I was getting my bathroom renovated and decided to stay here since it was a close commute to work. The room was clean and comfortable. The TV channels were very limited, no cable channels available as advertised. The view was of a factory and the neighborhood was limited and not the safest. The hotel is surrounded by public housing, the markets and nearby shops are uninviting. The hotel offers one washer/dryer to self-launder clothes. The hotel did not have a restaurant, and the breakfast was the same every day and no fresh egg preparation was available. For the cost I probably would not stay here again unless the room was significantly discounted.
