One block from Bourbon St it was charming and very New Orleans. The cats greeting guests and presence was a special unexpected treat. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable with suggestions for activity options.

Clean and well cared for. The only problem was the sofa sleeper in the mini suite. It’s too uncomfortable to sleep on. It would be a problem if you are depending on having a third bed. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Overall an excellent experience.

Staying here made our trip an adventure. We loved the vibe of the Olivier House. Could not ask for a better location. In the middle of the FQ but a on quieter street. The hosts were excellent too. Highly recommended for those who appreciate historical charm, comfort and convenience. More suited for a romantic getaway for a couple vs families or a party crowd. Unforgettable place!

Beautiful, old, romantic property. Dark and quiet. About 30 yards from Bourbon and you’re smack dab in the middle of the craziness. Service was great and minimal interaction was needed. Will stay again. If you’re looking for the corporate, modern stay this is not the place it has the feel of an old beautiful mansion and old NOLA.

It's a 200 year old house so you'll hear everything in the hotel itself. But even then I loved it! You hear non of the noise from Bourbon street but it's a 1 minute walk away. There are so many accommodations for guests. I will definitely be staying here again!!

Great place for a real French Quarter experience

I would fully agree with other reviews that the staff was super friendly and helpful. We had a 2-bedroom 2-bath suite that had a small dining table, full refrigerator, microwave, sitting area, larger TV and more. This was a great location in the French Quarter and was just a short walk to Jackson Square and just a 5–7-minute walk to about anywhere. We stayed at the nearby Omni Hotel on our last visit to NOLA which was also great, but for us The Olivier better exemplifies the overall vibe/history of the French Quarter.

Really enjoyed our time at Olivier house. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel was unique and spacious. It was very close to the center of the hustle and bustle but far enough away that it wasn’t overwhelmed by the noise and people. The only downfall I could say was that our room was on the road with a balcony and the hotel next door had their dumpster next to our building. The trash pickup is daily at about 4am and was VERY loud. Not much the Olivier house can do about that other than warn its guests. We’d stay there again!

Truly a remarkable property. Staff was very nice. Location was perfect for french quarter. Property was quiet even on the weekend with Bourbon street right around the corner. Balconies are great and the courtyard is beautiful. The three cats on property were fun to watch. Snacks and water being provided throughout the day was phenomenal and a very pleasant surprise.
