We arrived at the hotel about 2 hours before check-in time, dropped off our luggage and were assured 2 rooms beside each other would be ready upon our return in a couple hours. We returned 5 hours later and there was no record of the assigned rooms. The gentleman at the front scrambled to find 2 rooms on the same floor that had been cleaned and were ready for occupancy. We opted to have buffet breakfast the first morning and were disappointed in the choices, the scrambled eggs were very undercooked.

I have stayed here many times and I like this location. I explore the plateau and can get to places like old Montreal very easily. There is an upscale, value supermarket and a wine store in the first floor and a food court. There are many restaurants and fast food nearby.

From check-in to checkout, the staff at the Hyatt went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. When I realized I’d forgotten something after checking out, a housekeeping staff member kindly used his own card to let me back up in the elevator. At the parking area, another team member offered to carry my luggage without hesitation. Breakfast service was equally impressive when we asked for access to a private area, the team happily accommodated us. Just months ago at another major hotel chain, we were told “no” to a similar request and ended up leaving, so the difference here was striking. No hotel is perfect, but what stood out at the Hyatt was how genuinely everyone from housekeeping to reception smiled and was eager to help. That level of care turned a regular hotel stay into a memorable experience.

The room floor was dirty. It was not vacuum before I checked-in. Great location, very close to Metro station and Montreal Bus Central Station. There's an IGA connected to the hotel, very convenient.

We stayed 4 nights. Wonderful helpful staff. Good amenities. Convenient location. At move in the room needed a better deep cleaning. We found crumbs under the sofa cushions and in the corners of the room. Also the sides of the fold out crib needed to be wiped down and cleaned.
