This was the first time visiting the Great Sand Dunes in Colorado and what an amazing place. The contrast of biomes is very unique to our planet. Every season sees major changes which help to keep the park ever changing. #nature #colorado #usa #travel #adventure #mountains #sand #rockymountains

My bucket list is to visit all 59 of the US National Parks. So far, we've been lucky enough to explore over 30. Here's one of them.

Mesa Verde National Park is the only cultural #nationalpark of the 59 "set aside to preserve the work of man." Beyond cliff dwellings, there are beautiful canyons and it's not too far away from Four Corners National Monument where Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and Colorado meet making for a great.
A section of US Route 550 that runs from Silverton to Ouray in Colorado is knows as "The Million Dollar Highway", and it's a thrilling (or terrifying) ride. Narrow roads, steep cliff walls, dizzying drop-offs....and no guard rails. It all makes for a white-knucke drive, albeit one with breath-taking views. There's some conjecture about the origin of the name - some say it's because it cost a million dollars to create, others say it's because of the million dollar views. Either way, it's a drive you won't soon forget. #colorado #ouray #milliondollarhighway #silverton #roadtrip #beautifuldrives
The Maroon Bells are two mountain peaks located southwest of Aspen, CO. They are reportedly one of the most photographed scenes in the state. #colorado #maroonbells #aspen #mountains
