"The property is a true gem boasting expansive lush flora and fauna with multiple pools creating a swimmer's paradise. The various coves and levels including a waterpark and adult pool add to its allure. The expansive beach offers breathtaking views shared with the Four Seasons. Our room was exquisitely appointed with a spacious patio featuring outdoor furniture a rocking chair and a modern interior with an oversized shower and spa-inspired bathroom. The lobby is a work of art reminiscent of the Bellagio. The service was exceptional and attentive allowing guests to order drinks by the beach or pool. However beach umbrellas incur an additional cost while lounge chairs are provided in the lawn area adjacent to the beachfront. A notable highlight was the bar area featuring a see-through aquarium bar. One area for improvement is the availability of umbrellas throughout the property as they tend to fill up quickly and the sun can be intense. Notably the Waldorf has a more family-friendly atmosphere compared to the Four Seasons and the Andaz which we also visited. While the property itself is truly stunning and impressive the Andaz may be a better option for those seeking a more intimate and relaxing experience."

"Clean, spacious, an outstanding view, and welcoming owners. Short drives to good food (we enjoyed Grandma's for breakfast, and could get to Pukalani, Makawao, or Paia easily.) Haleakala is close. Private, quiet - a great break from the crowds. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here!"

"Truly beautiful place. I thought we would have more of a far off ocean view, but not complaining at all. We would stay here anytime we return to Maui as a couple. You can tell She's takes great care of the place."

"Host was very welcoming and her home was really beautiful… we enjoyed staying here, and its proximity to haleakala is incredible. We traveled with our service animal, Summer, and there were goats next door as neighbors who were very friendly. She loved making new friends and our group of 4 loved how quiet the home was. "We’ve been going to BnBs since the 80s; Lori was an amazing hostess. The pantry is stocked for more than breakfast, need a snack, cheese and crackers, some thing to drink? It’s there! Want slippers? Ck the bathroom, want beach towels, boogie board — it’s there. The patio is private and peaceful with great grill set-up. Lori provides full service. If you are looking for someplace away from the crowds, near Haleakala, or away from the crowds this is great choice. "
