Overall cute cabin. Could use some updates but close to everything and nice to park right outside your cabin. Would stay there again. Good to have 2 bedrooms and a living area when staying with children

First off there was no place to park near our cabin as the lot was jam packed. Our cabin smelt mist and damp. The sheets had stains on them and the comforters were dirty. We paid $350 for the night….i should have slept on my truck.

Our room was perfectly good and met the small two-twin bed room we payed for. The average review grade reflects the reasonable value for price and should not take away from the property. Had we wished to pay more, there were very impressive cabin rooms that I am sure would provide a more luxurious stay

The outdoor pool was so cold and the hot tub was not working.The indoor pool was much better. The exterior was in poor condition, chipping paint, molding unkept carpet on the stairs and walk ways. The beds are very comfortable.

You will NOT get a cabin or what is pictured in your booking! They are no pictures or explanation of “basic rooms”so it is incredibly deceptive in what you are booking. They show only the cabins exterior and interior but that’s not at all where you will be staying. The fine print at the very bottom says basic room- 2 Queen beds, but never explains that they have OTHER rooms you are actually booking. There was no way of knowing this and they know it. They bank on the fact that after a long trip to get there you will have no choice but to accept where they tricked you into staying. The room is out dated, the carpet feels sticky, the wall paper in the bathroom is stapled in places to keep it up.

Property is very nice and has a welcoming appeal. BUGS!! I saw a small spider in the bathroom 20 seconds into checking in. But the bugs are simply the city’s biome and not the property’s fault although proper insulation and pest control would be nice. Not expensive considering the city.

Close to the ferry, we used Arnold, to get to Macinac Island. The kids also used the water park next door, they said the outdoor pool was warmer than inside.

The cabins are very old and dirty on the inside. They have maybe 4 big ones that they have the pictures of on the site but what yiu get are the little dirty musty ones in the back. We could tell it hadn't been deep cleaned in a long time. The carpet was dusty and dirty. We found hair ties on the floor in-between bed and the wall in both rooms. There was toothpaste on the wall in the bathroom where someone had brushed their teeth and spit it in the sink. It splattered on the walls and was never cleaned. They could be really nice if they were actually cleand and maintained regularly. The couch and chair in the living room were stained and dirty looking too. We only stayed one night because we were going to be staying on Mackinac island. If we were staying any longer we would have raised hell about the place. Never again.
