Rooms are very clean and very well appointed. The best part is the view of the bridge and Lake Huron. We got a Lakeview room, and we're very happy with it, But the rooms on the end have a big picture window looking straight on at the lake and the bridge. I wish I had known about them with rented one of those.

Old motel but beautiful view of the bridge and the Straits of Mackinac. Hotel is small but right on the beach. Good restaurants nearby and away from downtown shopping. Near the ferry to the island. Chairs on the pool deck were comfortable.

First time staying in Mackinaw City, will definitely book the Riviera again. Great view, clean rooms, little small but perfect for a place to sleep. Slept two adults one child for our over night stay. The pool is heated and has a great view of the bridge. Also BC pizza delivers to the room.

Check-in was very easy and clerk was accommodating and polite. Shuttle to ferry dock provided. Room was spacious with plenty of lighting. The mini fridge was nice! Kids really enjoyed the outdoor pool (it's nice and warm) with a beautiful view of the bridge. The room was very clean. The only suggestion I'd have is that the bathroom could use some shelving to place things like a vanity bag, etc. There was no where to hang the hand towel b/c the towel rod was full with bath towels. Great overall!

Good but Cozy Family Stay

Overall, this motel was a solid 8-9/10. The room was small/cozy. The "lake view" was a bit of a stretch based on the back window or out the front door. My kids did appreciate the heated pool, but opening at 11 seemed strange.

This was a property that was right on the water. It had close access to shopping and activities. Upon arrival, the staff answered all my questions and was ready to help with shuttles and parking.

We always, always stay at the Riviera Motel, and have for years and years. It's a little bit of an upscale mom and pop motel, located right by the bridge! Never would we want to stay anywhere else. Great accomodations!!!

Excellent weekend stay . We found the staff to be helpful and friendly. The location was perfect and the views from the property beautiful. Our rooms were on the small side but updated and clean. This is a classic older motel, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!

Mackinaw City Riveria

This was a great stop for the night on a trip further north. The view of the bridge was wonderful, especially after the fog lifted and it was lit up. Check in was easy and the man was very friendly and helpful. Pool looked nice but we didnt get to try it out. The place is close to some great things.
