Was very pleased with the property. Property was clean and well maintained. VERY well lit for a motel. Breakfast was good with sufficient selection. Only thing was air conditioning cooled room but was a bit humid. Almost felt like it needed an adjustment.

The property photos are misleading. For instance, they depict a pristine beach with comfortable seating, but in reality, the beach was covered in rocks and littered with cigarette butts. Additionally, there was ongoing road construction directly outside the hotel, and the strong odor of asphalt fumes permeated both the hotel and the so-called “beach” area.

They were so kind to upgrade me to a waterfront room :) nice views!!! Clean bathroom area, great to have fridge, coffee maker ( tasty coffee packets too!!) great hot breakfast!!!! The downside was the bedding looked 40 yrs old and the carpet looked dirty - so I would give this place a solid 7 star

The Clearwater Lakeshore Motel was a very friendly place to stay. Complementary lake side fires with s'mores heightened the experience. The motel is dated some but overall the rooms were clean and comfortable. I would recommend this to a friend.

Returning once again

We stayed in 2021 and the couple that runs the hotel are just as friendly now as they were then. The beds are super comfortable, the view is amazing, and the breakfast is really delicious. We love the bonfires at night and enjoy the smores while watching the sunset. It also offers a perfect view to the fireworks. You can see the ones from the bridge, the island, and ST Ignis.

We loved staying at this motel, everything was clean and the staff is very friendly. We enjoyed all of the amenities offered and discovered some we didnt even know about while staying there. First of all i wanted to say thank you to Mrs Yvette and the other lady at the front desk for being so helpful with recommendations for events in the area, also the gentleman at the breakfast was on top of everything always busy working on something. Staff very professional and kind. Hotel was clean , love the full size of the personal items like shampoo and body lotion, breakfast was decent. The S’mores and fire pit was a great touch . I’ll definitely recommend this place very quiet no issues for our 3 night stay . Bed and pillows very comfortable . Love the no smoking facility … my husband and I are satisfied costumer .

Appreciated the cleanliness and quality of the place for the room rate on a Friday night. Loved the view and fire pits on the beach. The staff were very friendly. Liked that hot breakfast items were served in the morning. The bed and pillows were harder than we prefer. I considered using the pool & hot tub facility, but it was more chlorinated than I can handle. Overall, I appreciated I nicely kept place that was budget-friendly for a Friday night that was not a hotel chain that we could rest at for a night.

Old and getting run down

My draw to stay here was the bonfires on the beach and s'mores. Upon arrival, we were told the their load of firewood for the season had not arrived yet so no fires in the barrels for our stay. Room had a strong smell. Breakfast doesn't offer anything good.
