YOTEL Geneva Lake
"We stayed for two nights, meeting up with family who were staying elsewhere around the lake. This is a very new looking hotel and is exactly what you would expect from a modern large hotel close to an airport. We only used it as a base and spent very little time inside, so therefore cannot comment on any of the amenities. The room was functional, but not particularly nice, and not particularly large. The bed was large and reasonably comfortable but very creaky. We've slept in better, we've slept in worse. We didn't like the shower and toilet being so close to the bed, particularly as the walls of both the shower and the toilet were simply frosted glass, so privacy was not of the highest order. The location was good, very close to the motorway and not too far from the lake. The lake can easily be seen from the upper floors. All the staff that we met were extremely helpful and friendly. The underground car park is free to guests and is very good. Well lit, huge spaces for the cars and easy to access the hotel rooms via a lift. We didn't sample the evening restaurant, nor the roof top bar, but the biggest disappointment was probably the breakfast. It was so disappointing we chose not to bother on our second morning. The food on offer was very limited, it was not very tasty, and it was absurdly expensive. In summary .... its a very attractive modern hotel that serves a purpose for travellers without being prohibitably expensive, but we wouldn't stay here again."
