We will definitely be back here the next time we come to visit our son at Texas Tech! It is clean, the staff friendly & welcoming, the hotel is conveniently located (right off the highway, easy access, and just down the street from our son’s rental house), the breakfast was great (so much more than just continental- eggs, meat, fruit, yogurt…), and the lobby is very open and spread out with nice small areas to work. I was able to come down there while my hubby slept in and had a lovely space to read, work, and also to call a friend! Also, we drove to Lubbock after work on a Friday from Dallas so got in very late. The desk staff was present & ready to welcome us! Thank you!!!

I thought everything was great except the spotlight outside of my window. I understand the hotel is not in a good neighborhood but having a bright spotlight shining directly on my window was not good. Other than that everything was great

Everything was good - lady who checked us in was a tad rude, being very short. Definitely seemed like she was over her day and did not want to be there. She was this way with the elderly gentleman in front of us and the couple behind us.

Clean room, but...

Alot of bird poop around the entrance. I did pre checkin and the attendant had already checked us in when I got there. Her and her manager proceeded to have an argument in front of me as to whether that was the right procedure. Another client walked in, laughed and said, "I can come back later if this isn't a good time." It was pretty awkward.

Was ok.

The lobby was muggy when we walked in. It was stated that the AC unit went out but that the rooms were not effective. The pool was only to 2ft so my boys were bummed. The breakfast was ok just because the egg,sausage, and biscuit spread was very artificial so the taste was not good. Overall it was not the best for family with teenagers.
