Hotel is across the road from Chalk Farm tube station. A few minutes walk to Camden Lock and under 10 mins in other direction to Primrose Hill. Fine beer selection in hotel bar. Did not eat there so can't comment on food. Modern, comfortable room with air con which was great as temps low 30's in the city. Slept well, bed very comfortable with plenty pillows. Bottled water provided daily which was a lovely touch. Only green tea and camomile teabags in room but when I asked, hotel provided English breakfast teabags right away. There was a coffee pod machine in the room too with a selection of coffee pods but did not use this. Having an in room safe was good too.

We booked a delux room, however ended up with a very small room with vertically no amenities. There was no hot water in both the taps or shower, not good when you consider this hotel received an excellent rating. Although we brought this to the attention of the reception staff nothing was done to resolve the issue or compensate us. We left feeling very disappointed.

Comfy stay

The room was very nice and comfortable. I booked a Double Deluxe room. Clean and AC worked well. The hotel staff was always very helpful when I made any requests. The rooms are above a pub so there will be some noise but I stayed during weekdays so the pub closed by midnight. I didn’t have any issues with excessive noise during my stay but I can imagine a weekend stay would include much more of a noise concern so you may want to consider that if booking for weekend stay. I enjoyed my stay and would book again.

Convenient for Camden’s amenities

Great location and easy check in. Reception friendly and helpful. Room was clean with complimentary water. Even though above a pub felt safe and didn’t hear any noise from downstairs. Very close to restaurants and pubs supermarkets near by. Opposite a tube station so ideal for getting around London. Air conditioning which was much appreciated on a very hot weekend in June. I’ve stayed here twice and the first time my room had a window and faced the street and second time there was no window so just bear this in mind if this will be a problem.

This was a pretty comfortable room; the only disadvantage is that it is above a pub, so you hear a lot of noise until pretty late in the night. The restaurant across the street that was supposed to serve breakfast also didn’t seem to be open during the hours the hotel indicated. Lots of dining in the area, but not great vegetarian options.

Room is well equipped but very bright in the mornings regardless of blinds being closed. You're awake at 6 am. It's a great location right opposite tube and loads of places to go locally. Pub is ok, friendly and good service but range of beers very average. Seemed very dusty in the room.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, it’s ideally located for Camden Market, the Round House, or Primrose Hill. Hampstead and the City are just a short direct tube ride away on the Northern line, making it a very practical base for both work and tourism. That said, my big disappointment was that the hotel does not provide breakfast before 9am. So that’s a no-go if you’re using it for business. Local cafés in Primrose Hill don’t serve food before 9am either. I did find a greasy spoon cafe further down towards Camden, but the quality wasn’t great. The room itself was pleasant, recently redecorated and clean. The lift is so slow that you can walk up the stairs to the top floor faster than it can go down one floor! and i’m no sportsman. But clearly, if you have luggage, it’s a nice plus. Overall I will stay again if the need arises - you just need to make your own breakfast plans.

Really comfirtanke and well-appointed room....super modern chic with all requisite amenities. Extremely easy book with professional and polite front of house reception staff. Ultra convenient with the rooms located above a traditional english pub and with Bodeans collab means evening meals are also taken care of. With the hotel located opposite a London underground station only 5 minutes from St Pancras International station and directlh opposite the Roundhouse concert venue, it doesn't get any more convenient and comfortable...!

Good value comfortable hotel

Good value hotel in Camden. Friendly staff and a comfortable room. They offer luggage storage as well. I'd recommend the hotel for a base to explore Camden
