We stayed for a week during the kids’ spring break. Our group had 3 adults, 1 pre-teen and 1 teenager. It was still a bit chilly, so we didn’t get to swim, but we spent plenty of time fishing and relaxing, which made for a great trip.The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook for the week—plenty of pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. There was also ample counter space for meal prep, which isn’t always the case in other properties we’ve stayed in. The open floor plan was a huge plus, allowing me to stay connected with the family while cooking.The primary bedroom was spacious and featured a beautiful lake view, along with a connected bathroom. Linens were provided for the beds, and the bathroom was a great size. The other two bedrooms were also comfortable and easily accommodated our kids and my brother-in-law.Our family especially enjoyed the large game room—it could definitely accommodate more people than we had in our group.Reliable Wi-Fi is essential for us since we often work remotely during our stays. We had no issues running two computers, five phones, and two traveling Xboxes We didn’t test to see if the Wi-Fi worked in the game room, but that might be something we check next time so the Xboxes can move out there.We also did a flight with Sand Dollar Seaplanes, and it was fantastic if you want something unique to do while in Lake Gaston. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and are already planning to rebook for next year.
