An average of 50 daily flights come through Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport (ROA) each day. Nonstop flights to nine major cities are offered by the airport’s four airlines. It is devoted to giving passengers the best travel experience possible, whether they be human or animal. The small airport offers free Wi-Fi throughout the terminal and two potty areas for traveling pets.
Need to get some work done? ROA also has small workstations for use, with electrical outlets nearby in case you also need to charge your devices. If you find yourself peckish while waiting for your flight, vending machines with snacks and beverages are located on the first floor and there is a café before security, as well as one after security, where you can purchase regional dishes.
Stop by the news and gift shop to pick up those last-minute items you forgot or planned to get before you fly. You can also browse souvenirs made locally or in the Roanoke Valley and Western Virginia. Though the airport is small, it has everything travelers could need for their trip.
