Excellent location

The dining/lounge area was the surprise bonus at this hotel. Our rooms were small so we spent time here enjoying happy hour drinks, afternoon tea or the free tea and coffee. It was a very comfortable space to relax.

Convenient hotel near a train station, very easy to move around. The room was clean, tidy and more than enough for our family of 3. Breakfast had limited options but good enough for a couple of days. Service was outstanding with everyone being very attentive and patient.

The breakfast is a bit pricey but very good with a lot of options. The check in was easy and we were given a tour before going to our room. Free luggage storage was great and convenient. The complimentary snacks and tea, flavored water after 5 pm was a nice touch.

This hotel is amazing in so many ways. It’s right across the street from Toji subway station which is one stop from Kyoto station. The rooms are very comfortable. They provide many nice extras like free snacks and drinks. A cocktail hour and a very comfortable lounge. The breakfast was excellent as well. Lots of great local restaurants. Aeon Kyoto mall is a 7 minute walk. Highly recommend this hotel.

We had great stay with Comfort Hotel Era. Kids love the afternoon snacks and breakfast buffet. Great location as Toji station is just across the street. Shopping is near by made it even more convenient. We loved the restaurant near by. Room is good size and bed is comfortable, very clean and room service was done every day. Best hairdryer we’ve ever had with hotel stay. We’ll stay at this hotel again when we’re back to Kyoto next time.

This was a 10/10 stay. The staff is amazingly quick, kind and efficient which made our stay so peaceful and easy. We had all of our needs met and even got complimentary snacks and drinks throughout the day! They have various maps and brochures detailing all hotspots in Kyoto with staff recommendations on places to eat nearby. The hotel even assists with the luggage forwarding process. They make it very seamless and easy. Overall we had a fantastic time at the Comfort Era. Very very accomodating staff. They are great!!
