Comfortable hotel with some minor issues

Overall,.a good comfortable hotel. But there were some small.issues. At the reception, the credit card reader didn't work, the shower switch in the room was loose, the TV remote was not working..But the breakfast was decent and the service staff very polite.

Made an error with the booking and immediately called to correct the dates. Basically was told too bad, take it up with Expedia who said take it up with the hotel. Money is the only driver. Forget Albany form of customer service from either party.

Specifically chose this hotel because I enjoy having a kitchen when I’m travelling for work for an extended period of time. I found all the kitchen utensils and appliances to be quite used and appeared unclean. The staff was very helpful and providing a new coffee pot when I requested as the original one had a significant amount of rust inside the pot. Great location and friendly staff, just needs a little updating

As we walked in the Staybridge Hitel we were met by a young man with a welcoming smile, he was professional and courteous, which for us is the beginning of a great stay! The breakfast buffet had lots to choose from, the scrambled eggs were fluffy and delicious, the bacon and the breakfast sausages was cooked to perfection. We will definitely return to this Staybridge for all our future annual visits to Waterloo!

Loved the room!

The room was huge and lovely. There was a kitchenette and living room with a separate bedroom. The fellow who checked us gave me the impression that we were disturbing him. He was far from welcoming and warm for a front desk clerk. The breakfast was adequate for this type of establishment. We were there for 4 nights, a change of breakfast items during this time would have been nice. On our first morning a whole tray of glassware was barely clean and as was much cutlery. Staff didn't seem phased by this. I subsequently used paper glasses in order to ensure cleanliness

Overall the hotel was great. Very clean, modern suite. Excellent location. St. Jacobs Market, St. Jacobs Theater, Restaurant, and Stockyards Craft Brew all within a very short walk. Great for spot for visit.

We had a fantastic stay. Room was upgraded and it was a lovely surprise. The room was beautiful and spacious for our family. The only disappointment was the pool. It was intoxicating with chlorine and could only stay for a short time as it was too much. Overall a great stay though.
