"Let me start with prefacing this review by saying “you get what you pay for”. The photos online are VERY deceiving. The property looks like it was recently renovated but if you take a closer look, you can tell that it was budget friendly and poorly done.
The entry/exit situation is confusing for first timers. I somehow ended up going the wrong way and then having to make a u-turn because another exit was closed.
Pet friendly, so prepare for the extra noise. When we arrived, there was another guest sitting outside their room with one of the room chairs with their unleashed dog. Looked him he and his fur buddy were standing/watching guard. Not very welcoming if you ask me; more intimidating.
I knew that this was going to be a place where we rested, not relaxed. So going into the trip I had very low expectations.
Walls are extremely thin. You can hear your upstairs and next door neighbors. There was an odor in our room that was reminiscent of WD40.
The wall AC unit, small mini fridge and door was so loud.
Parking is $20 a night. You get a parking pass to put on your dashboard. And it is first come, first served. So if you’re out late and come back to no spots, be prepared to park off site and pray you don’t get towed. The property is right next to a highway so you get that noise too.
It is what it is. Close to everything you want to do in SD but definitely not comfortable. And we will not be returning. "
