A good choice amongst only a small number of accommodations within 2 miles (3 kilometers) from the centrally located sights of Kamikochi, is the Kamikochi Lemeiesta Hotel.

The Chohsaku No Yado Nakadaya is located 6 miles (10 kilometers) from the main part of Kamikochi. Also, the Wafu Ryokan Gizan is situated 7 miles (10 kilometers) away. Alternative hotel options include the Hotel Route-Inn Court Azumino Toyoshina Ekiminami and the Okada Ryokan Warakutei.

After you have spent time in Kamikochi, put aside some time to see the other great attractions Chubu has to offer. Chubu boasts beaches and mountains, and common tourist sights are ruins, castles and traditional villages. In this area of Japan adventurous visitors may take up the chance to partake in snowboarding, skiing and cross-country skiing.

The closest accommodations in Matsumoto are Chino and Norikura Plateau.
