A modern fairly new hotel which was very clean, safe and a 10 min walk from station. Literally 10 min walk to Matsumoto Castle. We had a view of it from our room. Rooms in the small side (comm in Japan) but fine for us. Beds were very comfortable too. A great value as well. We would stay here again.

The rooms are so small you have to go outside to change your mind ! The first night while squeezing out of bed I tripped , timber , thump, wallop ! 6 stitches later , bad gash on my forehead. Staff reactions...... not a diddling squat , they were more interested in watching the desk clock tic. No empathy what so ever , they were totally robotic . So sorry, have to check-out the person behind you . Do yourself a favour, stay away from this one . It makes Bazil Faulty look like Father Christmas. As for the management ...... ? Who cares that a guest got hurt , mind you I left a major blood stain somebody had to clean . The staff reaction to this piece of information .......
