Great Place to Stay Near Traverse City

The owners did a great job taking an older home and making it beautiful and comfortable with updates. Everything we needed was provided. Being able to bring our furry friends was a plus. Our trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes and our dinner at Red Mesa in Traverse City were highlights.

Great Place

This house is in an excellent location. I highly recommend visiting Manistee Lake Pizzeria & Bakery that is only 1.5 miles away - absolutely amazing! There is one issue that needs resolved and it is the rusty water. The rust in the water was so strong it was all we could smell when showering or using the water and it was very unappealing. If that gets resolved I would stay here again.

Relaxing and peaceful lake house

Scenic, quiet, comfy, and relaxing best describe this place. We enjoyed the sunsets and our morning coffee by the lake. Best part is its close to family. The house was furnished with everything we needed. Loved the decor and lake house vibe. Very clean and private. Pet friendly too! Tabitha was super nice! We would love to come back and stay again.

Great location! Private and peaceful!

Cozy, clean and comfortable! Nicely updated cottage home. Across the street from a nice clean sand beach. We enjoyed the lake, it was fairly warm which we appreciated! The property is well taken care of and felt very at home.

Wonderful Cottage

A great cottage to stay in. Wonderful view with the lake right across the street. Great for golfers. 3 golf courses within 10 miles and the resorts (shanty creek, travers bay, a-ga-ming) within an hours drive. Would definitely go back to stay again.

Weekend trip

Management was helpful and responsive. Had a roof leak due to ice, no fault of house or maintenance. Weather hindered activity but that again is no fault. Enjoyed our stay for the most part

Excellent Up North Getaway Rental

The home was super clean, cute and perfect for me, my mom and sister. It was well stocked and had very comfortable beds. The linens and towel were high quality and an added touch of luxury. Highly recommend this gem for an up north getaway.

Porkchop the Corgi gives 10/10

Porkchop and I spent the week at Manist-Easy Cottage. We enjoyed the views from the living room of the lake each morning. When I had to work remotely, I enjoyed the view from the table in the kitchen. We used the kayaks during our lunch time and loved the subsets from the dock. Easy drive to Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, Frankfort, Petoskey, and Charlivox. Would definitely stay again! Thanks for the relaxing time away!

Peaceful getaway

Our experience was great! The property was clean, up to date and overall awesome. We enjoyed our family time and will definitely be back! We utilized the boat dock and lake which was relaxing. Very peaceful and quiet area.

Nice property. Had a real nice time. A couple of things toilet seat needs to be replaced shifts when you sit down son tried to tighten didn't work. You only had one mirror in the house in bathroom impossible for three women to get ready to go somewhere lol We bought a mirror & left for the next renter. Overall a nice comfortable place to rent.

Relaxing Lakeside Life

This property is exactly as listed. The beds were comfortable memory foam, plush bath towels, kitchen had thorough supplies, appliances excellent condition. I enjoyed morning coffee on the porch, afternoon sun on the dock, and evenings by the fire. I would recommend this space for families with younger children because the lake entry is shallow with an excellent sandy bottom. The dock didn't reach deep enough for my teens to be excited about jumping in and swimming, but we did appreciate the small kayaks available for use. The location was about 10 minutes from town and supplies, 45 min from Traverse city, and 1.5 hrs to Mackinaw City and Sleeping Bear dunes...all excellent day trips. The quiet area and lake views made for a relaxing place to stay!

Great Place!

This property is in a great location, only about an hour to places like Traverse City, Elk Rapids, and more. The place was very clean, and has good internet and a working washer and dryer. The beds were comfortable. It was nice to look out and see Manistee Lake with the dock across the street. The only thing that might have needed work was the backyard area, but not a drawback at all!
