"The hotel was amazing and would definitely recommend. The rooms were spacious and clean, the futons were very comfortable. Our room had a private onsen which was a highlight. The kaiseki dinner was very delicious and well thought also to accommodate our kids. The breakfast included a wide variety of foods. The gardens of the hotel were very beautiful and peaceful- we enjoyed walking there many times a day. The hotel staff was kind and very helpful! The bus service to the nearby stations worked well. All in all, a near perfect stay, a very special experience and would definitely recommend!"

"The hotel itself feels rather dated and only provides basic toiletries, with no body lotion provided. We stayed for two nights, and unfortunately, the buffet breakfast was exactly the same on both days, with no variety in the selection. Overall, while the Mt. Fuji-facing room was the main reason we chose this hotel, the dated facilities and repetitive breakfast left us feeling somewhat underwhelmed."
