Aparently this hotel now has air purifiers in the rooms. Seems like a nice improvement. They arent there so much for air quality, they are there to charge you for smiking or vaping in the rooms. I do neither, but a bill was slid under my door while i was sleeping for $500.00. After talking to someone at the front desk, and showing a time stamp from my uber that i wasnt even in the room when the air purifier said it detected smoke/vape, they said theyd refund the charges. My account continued to be charged 2 other times (over 1,500.00 in total) . Talked to my bank, and the hotel, and aparently the charges will be returned to my account this evening. The location also failed to mention the lobby construction on the website ahead of my stay. The room was nice, but the lobby was a bunch of scaffolding and tarps. I would have stayed somewhere else had i known. Lessons learned, i usilually stay at a nicer hotel downtown, and that is where i will stay from now on. My first experience with sheraton was enough for me to never try them again.
