"The room and facilities were clean. The staff was kind and more than helpful, though we stayed during the World Cup so there were a few times when we had to wait in long lines for help, even for small needs, like water bottles. It was especially inconvenient because rooms do not have fridges and microwaved so to had to ask the staff to store and help prepare our foods.
I’m unsure if this is standard, but there were large crowds waiting to use the elevators some nights because they only allowed guests to use one of their two elevators so they could use the other for express trips up to the (not so popular) rooftop bar. I not eat or drink on the property because the prices were high and we were close to a lot restaurants and delis. My friend had decent coffees there, though the waits for them were a bit long. She didn’t enjoy her stay much.
The location is great for going to theaters, restaurants, Times Square, or traveling by transit. It is decent to stay in, but I likely wouldn’t stay there again because it did not feel like it was worth the price."
