Exploring Guadalajara

The unit was clean but the bed was very hard and the pillows lumpy. BUT it was in a fabulous location!! It was an easy walk to the Cathedral and all the key spots in the historic district. The 9 Esquinas was basically across the road and had some really great restaurants. Had some confusion with the entry codes but the property manager sent someone right away to help us. Overall a great experience in Guadalajara. We would stay here again.

Nice place in a good location

We enjoyed our stay at 9 esquinas. The apartment is spacious and very quiet at night. The nearby Birria restaurants on the small plazas are wonderful and it is a short walk to centre of the city. A couple of things in the description aren't correct. Check-in was at 3 pm and not 1pm as given This wasn't a problem for us but could leave you waiting for a couple of hours. There is no washing machine and dryer as listed in the ammenities but there is a laundromat nearby, and Sergio the building manager kindly sent us instructions how to get there. The keypad entry lock on the front door is also a bit termperamental and we had issues getting in a few times. Again, Sergio was very helpful and sent someone to let us in. The apartment is on the ground floor and the windows to the inner courtyard do not lock properly. But the neighbourhood is very safe and the outside doors are always locked. All in all this is a great place and I would highly recommend it.

A great experience

Returning to Guadalajara and to Pitaya was truly a wonderful experience for us. Pitaya is right at the center and within walking distance from many historical landmarks in town. It’s an old building very well kept . Communication with Susana is immediate and she’s available to solve any issues at a moment’s notice. We’ll be returning to Pitaya soon!

Absolutely a beautiful unit!

Our stay in Pitaya was incredible, the location is perfect and the unit was everything I had hoped for. Very clean, exactly as it appears in the pictures. Contacting Susana was effortless. What I loved the most was the quietness at night although we were right at the center of Guadalajara. We will definitely come back to Pitaya soon!!
