Hotel is clean a pool in ok. Little dirty but heavy use while there by wrestlers. Check in says by 3pm but that didn't happen. Didn't know we would even have a room available till 730 and then couldn't get into room until after 8. Front desk gentleman is amazing stayed calm and help where could but not able to speed up incompetent owners of Hyatt place hotel.

Great experience with the manager

This hotel is currently going thru some much needed renovations. The 24 hour bar and food cafe was lacking in supplies, beverages and food choices. I am chalking it up to the renovations going on. Connor the manager was very helpful, energetic and went out of his way to accommodate us for services that were lacking and under renovations. He is a gem. We travel to this hotel 1-2 times a year and will be happy to see all the wonderful finished renovations next trip.

Disappointed with Check-in Process & Service I recently stayed at Grand Hyatt and had a frustrating check-in experience. I booked my stay through Expedia, but when I arrived at the hotel, the front desk claimed they hadn’t received my reservation confirmation. This was quite inconvenient, as I had to contact Expedia customer service myself to sort things out. Fortunately, Expedia was helpful and quickly resolved the issue by directly contacting the hotel. However, what disappointed me the most was the attitude of the hotel staff. Even after the confirmation was received and my check-in was processed, I felt like I was being treated differently, as if I had done something wrong. The staff’s behavior seemed unwelcoming, which made my experience uncomfortable. For a hotel of this caliber, I expected better communication and customer service. Mistakes can happen, but the way they are handled makes all the difference. I hope the management addresses these issues so that future guests don’t face similar challenges.

Pubic hair was left in the soap dish in the shower and on the frame that holds the shower gel and shampoo. Hair was also on the bathroom floor that didn't belong to me. Dog Hair was on the floor next to the rug.

The general manager, Conner cancelled my stay through Expedia because “I didn’t show up on the date of my intended check in”. I called the night before to let the front desk know I would not be there until the next morning but I’m still paying for all three nights of my intended stay. They made me jump through the Expedia hoops to request a waiver the proper way, and then still wouldn’t give me the waiver I requested. So Expedia kept my money and the hotel kept a portion of the reservation and I get nothing. I requested to speak to the general manager and he comes out looking straight down at the floor the entire time he’s speaking to me. I was very calm and diplomatic with my communications about my frustration with the whole situation. He did not look me in the eye one time but eventually agreed to take my card for the “$100 incidental fee” that would be refunded after checkout provided no damages were done. And he allowed me to check into a room with only this fee charged. Upon checkout I spoke to Yolanda at the front desk who was amazing and very helpful. She looked into the situation and found that it appeared Mr general manager planned to use my card to pay for the room he “gave me”. Rather than use the Expedia reservation he claimed he had “reinstated”. I very much thank Yolanda for taking great care of me in this rough situation and this general manager, Conner ought to take page out of her book and learn how to treat customers.

Check in was held up almost an hour because of some computer issue they could not ussue room cards. Not sure why a hotel room does not have a microwave and the breakfast area only served artificial sweetener. The kitchen help couldn't understand what i was asking for.

Excellent family experience!

My granddaughter turned 15 and wanted to celebrate with a couple of her friends. We had an amazing time! This property is incredible...the pool area is awesome, food was very good, and the staff was very customer service oriented. We reserved two rooms, one for my 15-year-old granddaughter and two of her friends to celebrate her birthday, and my husband and two other granddaughters (both 8) were in the room next to them. We all had a wonderful time and will definitely return in the future. Thanks, Hyatt, for a wonderful experience!!

I would give this hotel a higher rating however I was disappointed with the staff. After being gone all day and noticing that housekeeping was still on our floor but had skipped our room, I asked at the front desk if they could do ours. I was told that I had to put in a request if I wanted our room serviced and it was too late. I was not notified of this policy at check in nor is it posted anywhere. How was I supposed to know this?! Since housekeeping was still working on our floor I asked if they could come back, the answer was no. Very unprofessional. Staying two nights should allow you a visit from housekeeping!
