The staff were very helpful and I loved having a refillable water glass with their filtered tap water. The refrigerator was great, as well as the bed. The exercise room had what I needed and having the laundry room right next door was perfect to check on my laundry while I was doing my workout. Overall great experience!

Really fantastic hotel and even better staff. I did have an issue with a very unbearable odor in the room I was initially assigned to- however, the staff were very accommodating and helpful in reassigning a new room. I also had a few questions and found it very easy to get responses quickly via their automated WhatsApp line. The only downfall of the hotel is location- it’s nearly the lowest point below the castle so it’s not a gradual climb, be prepared for a lot of stairs!

STAY HERE!!!!!

This place is AMAZING! Everything is brand new, the view is absolutely incredible. We didnt want to leave. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook meals, the bathroom had a fantastic shower, and the bed was super comfy. The owners were so hospitible and easy to contact.

What a beautiful property -- with such modern amenities that my wife and I did not even know of them actually existed! We did not eat on property - but we could see the extent of what looked to be an absolutely delicious menu. Lovely staff and easy booking, easy check in, easy check out. We would absolutely stay here again.

Upon checking in, our room was a little dirty. There was black hairs on the floors and in the bed. On the bed comforter there was multiple red marks that looked like blood. We didn't bring it up to staff because we were so tired and wanted to sleep. Other than that, the beds were cozy and the staff were helpful and friendly. The location was amazing and an easy walk to everything we wanted to see.

Loved this hotel. It was a great location, walkable to everywhere. Staff was great and accommodating. Although, we didn’t eat breakfast there, the spread looked amazing every morning. If we return to Edinburgh, we would definitely stay there again. The hotel was recommended by a family member that stayed there and they were right, great hotel.

when we arrived they didnt even try to get our room ready after a 8 hour flight ......then we had no kleenex and no wash cloths......then we were walking around in our socks in our room and our socks where so dirty meaning your floor was ..it was gross.......the breakfeast was suppost to be ready at 6:30 however they were late everyday.......the staff was nice but really didnt know what they were doing some of them that is.......

As you leave the front door. You can look straight up and see. Edinburgh Castle. When you turn right and walk 150 yards you will be in the Grass Market shopping area.

Uncomfortable bed

Our stay with the support and the hospitality of the staff was very satisfying. However the 3rd person had to sleep on the coach since the mattress of the sofa bed was in terrible condition which one of the staff also confirmed it after coming into our room. All the springs was sticking out of the mattress which was against the health and safety regulations. Although we booked it in august and sent a message that we will be 3 people, the bed lining was not ready and it was expected from us to make it which I believe paying a high amount of money for a stay was overcharged with this service. I believe that I should be refunded. Looking forward to hearing from you from your earliest convenience. Yours sincerely

Loved being so close to everything. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room wasn't great as it was a bit noisy with a humm on the wall and we could hear people walking in the room upstairs from us. There should be more lighting in the bathroom around the mirror and next to both sides of the bed. So would stay againbut not in a ground floor room.
