We enjoyed our stay here until it was time to leave. The hotel had ordered us a cab to take us to the train station because one of our travel party was not feeling well. Our departure time came and went with no cab. We asked the desk and they assured us the cab was on the way. Finally, on our third trip to ask the desk where our cabwas, they told us no cabs were coming anywhere, so we had to walkseveral blocks to the train station with all our luggage.

We stayed for 2 nights. There were two things that irked me. The floor in the breakfast dining area was sticky and filthy. Our room was not cleaned. I had to ask for it to be cleaned.

This was the largest room we've had by far since our arrival in Scotland. The location is great for getting to pedestrian friendly shopping and dining, as well as bus, subway, and train stops. We spent three nights and were very comfortable.

Taking my daughter and friends to a concert at Hampden Park in Glasgow we decided to stay here and it was an excellent choice in hotel. We had a concert a few months ago in Glasgow staying at a different hotel (next to OVO) and it was the worst experience we had. Nearly got refused check in without providing a reason. Asked for our passports but having travelled from Inverness we would have no reason to take our passports which gave them another reason to refuse check in. In contrast the double tree hotel was the complete opposite experience. Nice atmosphere as soon as we stepped into lobby, check in assistant was friendly and helpful with checking in. Highly recommend this hotel, and will definitely be back to stay here.
