Stayed here for a conference in the area. Had to modify my reservation to change the number of beds that were in my room and was charged a cancellation fee of almost $200 even though I still stayed at the property. I’ve contacted Dee Dee at the front desk and attempted to reach the manger several times and they do not call back or refund the mistaken charge. This is unacceptable. As for the hotel itself. It was clean and fairly new. A good location in Allen. We felt safe. The breakfast options were terrible, nothing healthy, and the walls are paper thin. So we slept horribly due the the volume of the action movie next door.

I've stayed at other Tru Bu Hiltons in different states. I like to choose them for their modern rooms, breakfast, and customer service. But this location was different. The damp smell in the room came from a moldy, uncovered wall in the bathroom. Breakfast in the morning had very few and very basic options, and the service at checkout was poor. I think I'd choose another hotel if I returned to this area.

Surprisingly Perfect

The room was very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was very nice. I appreciated the selection of snacks and drinks available for purchase. The hotel overall felt new and welcoming. For an overnight business trip, this was an excellent stay.

Clean and friendly but a lot of noise at night

This is a nice hotel and the breakfast is great with lots of variety. The bed and pillows are comfortable. It was difficult to sleep however because the walls aren’t well insulated and you can hear everyone around you. The hotel is located just off the freeway so the street noise is also pretty loud.
