Lived up to the listing description and was everything we wanted for a weekend trip. Having the beach access with playground was excellent, and the 2 SUP and 3 kayaks made it convenient to get right on the water at any time. Would definitely come back!

Adorable lakehouse! The beds were super comfortable, which is not the norm with most rental properties we've stayed at. We really appreciated those comfy beds and the hot tub after a day of hiking at Proud Lake. Definitely recommend this property if you want a relaxing stay by the lake. Thank you to the hosts!!

We had such a relaxing getaway with the family for Mother’s Day weekend! The property was spotless, the game room was a huge hit, and the special treats for our dog were such a thoughtful touch. We loved spending time in the hot tub and around the fire pit each night. Highly recommend for a fun and relaxing family escape!

It was a great place to stay, with cozy vibes, pleasant views, and plenty of amenities for our family to enjoy. We visited for a ski weekend at Alpine Valley, so we didn’t get to experience the lake other than the nice view, but I can tell this would be an amazing summer getaway as well.

Host was great, the place was neat, clean and had all the amenities you would need. There is a nice view of the lake (even if it was frozen) and a public beach/playground right next door. It has a nice walking area too. The bonus for us was the fireplace, arcade games and game table!

We had a wonderful time at this peaceful and spacious lake cottage. Just steps to a quiet sandy beach for the kids to relax and play after hockey camp. They loved walking down the block to get DQ in the evening. Plenty of room for our party of 5. The outdoor seating area was so comfy and relaxing. Well-appointed kitchen and we loved getting the paddleboards out! Having a huge laundry room was a great bonus for all the hockey gear drying!

My friend and I met here with our kids (four teens). The space was amazing - plenty of room to relax on the patio and around the fire pit, or connect over canoeing, swimming, hot tubbing, foosball, ping pong, air hockey, xBox, and other games. Beds were super comfortable. We all enjoyed our own plans of relaxing and napping when we wanted and socializing as desired - and we ALL love the idea of returning to do it again! While the location IS pet friendly, it did not smell of pets and did not have any evidence (hair, damage, etc.) that pets had been there at all! There are steps to negotiate if that's a concern (only to the upstairs bedrooms/bathroom and to step down into the kitchen area). Not far from restaurants or groceries. Plenty of parking. The host is very thoughtful and accommodating. We hope to return!

I did tell the owner I would need an early check in coil be as early as 1:00. I arrived at about 3:15 the code worked but the house smelled really bad. The husband said check in wasn’t until 4:00. He called his house cleaner to come we went to an appointment we had we returned at 4:00 the cleaner still was not finished. She did miss cleaning the upstairs bathtub. The lake was pretty. The beach was pretty but we couldn’t use it because of the smoke. The cleaner put an automatic air freshener in the living room and I went straight into an asthma attack. The next day the smoke came so I was inside the entire week. The step up from the kitchen to the dining area was larger than a normal step I could not carry dinner to the table. My knees he’d trouble at the front door and the kitchen step. The downstairs bedroom is about 9x9 with supposed queen size bed. Very small. There were no dressers to unpack downstairs or upstairs. My grand daughter got stuck in her room in the middle of the night because the door stuck. I made them come over and work in the and my son could not get the bathroom door open with out putting all his weight into it. Also the curtain rod fell on my granddaughters head. And then some wretched alarm went off at 10 PM because there was some condensation on the air conditioner. You would have thought it was a fire or a gas leak. Woke up the whole family. Not a good experience for the amount we paid. mAt the end of the week I asked for Garbage bags he got upset.

Great location, host communication, and amenities. Our party of 5 adults found that the cottage has everything we needed to cook, relax, and enjoy this water adjacent location. Very quiet neighborhood with ample space inside and out for 5 adults to spend 2 nights. The paddle boards/kayaks/life jackets were bonus fun for our group. Beds are super comfy! The host, Sarah, was very communicative and even had a.v. cables/adapter to help us run an old vcr! Should we need a place to stay in the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
