"Staff was not as helpful as they should have been. Parking was across the street in a coded re-entry parking lot. The staff at the desk gave us no instructions regarding the parking lot. Also, the front desk never gave us a Welcome Letter with internet information and the code to access the parking lot after my husband parked the car.
The room had no glasses or ice bucket and the telephone in our room did not work!
I had to go down to the front desk to get a phone number to use and ask about The Welcome Letter with the internet password etc. I also got the glasses I needed. The only place you can get ice is through the front desk.
On the positive side, the room was spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable. The rooftop bar has spectacular views of the Mississippi River but the drinks are very expensive.
The breakfast was very good, however, they seemed short-staffed since tables were not cleaned after use and food was not resupplied without asking.
This hotel has great potential if managed and staffed better."
