The room is spacious and nice. Staff wasn’t rude, just not friendly, accommodating or hospitable. We tried to check in at 4pm and rooms weren’t ready. I could totally be with that, it was the lack of grace the staff handled this which was off-setting. No coffee makers in the rooms also a negative for this traveler.

I most def enjoyed the stay. The staff was AMAZING and had over the top customer service skills. I love em all lol. The rooms were very clean (outside of the carpet stains). You are in walking distance of maybe downtown (don't quote me on it), food places and more. I was able to find a record player shop!! The only small bad thing is there isn't a microwave in the room so you have to go downstairs. But overall 10/10. Will book again and again.

The Hu Hotel has the best staff ever!!!!! Annie handled the reservation portion and I recommend when you make your reservation to ask for her specifically. She will provide all your wants and needs. The concierge Deadric was real knowledgeable, resourceful and very respectful. He described everything with such detail. From the time we pulled up he was very helpful and provided all the necessary information to make our stay a complete success The whole staff were very kind and made our stay one of or if not the best stay I’ve ever had. Annie and Deadric deserves a raise!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for helping to make my wife’s 50th birthday trip a success.

The parking fee is $22 and is not included in the cost of the hotel reservation. It is a seperate charge altogether, and the only option for parking. During my stay, my room was over 80⁰F the entire time, and despite me bringing it to the clerk's attention that the AC was not working properly, they did not offer any help or compensation for the inconvenience. I won't be staying here again.

First and foremost, the staff was wonderful. The lobby/cafe area is beautiful. However, I cannot give this hotel more than 3 stars due to the overall cleanliness of the room. The carpet was filthy and should be replaced immediately. The couch cushions and countertops also had a few mysterious stains. Renovations are definitely needed.

Nice large room. Lobby area nice and staff great and friendly. Once you get in room floors the carpet, paint and wallpaper are shabby and need of replacement. I would stay here again regardless because positives outweigh the negatives.

Rooms are ok, i had great view of an alley. Theres no free parking so plan on spending another $25 to park. Charged $75 fee for incidentals which is cool but then they charged us again for room already paid for... I got it sorted with hotel but Hotels.com was zero help. Good location if your trying to be within walking distance of all the bars and things downtown.

Awesome Hotel

This is absolutely my favorite hotel in downtown Memphis. The customer service is phenomenal. I love the decor and vibe of the Hu Hotel. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and relaxing. I stayed in a one bedroom suite which was beautiful. The parking in the garage across the street is very convenient. This was my second time staying at the hotel in the past 5 months.
