"I cannot say enough about how exceptional this hotel is. The room was extremely clean. The bed was comfortable. The room temperature was perfect. The rooms, by the way, are absolutely beautiful. What stood out the most for me was the service at AWA. From the check in to the servers, the bartenders and housekeeping staff - all were exceptional. There was not a single person employed at the hotel that did not look like they truly wanted to be there. We ate breakfast at the hotel daily and it was amazing. We never had a problem getting a chair and the beach and the water was beautiful. The hotel is quiet. There was no noise to disrupt our sleep. There are always a few people that make your stay extra special: Miguel - lobby bartender - what a genuinely nice person! It was our pleasure to spend time with you. Always a smile and wonderful conversation. We hope to see you again! Ricardo - hotel manager - we actually discussed that we have never seen a more well run hotel. He strives to make every stay perfect for every guest- and for us it was. Thank you! Mimi - rooftop bartender - always made sure we had a drink in our hand and had a welcoming smile. "Had the best view of the sunset from the 3rd floor, staff was awesome, clean and upkept BUT the party doesn't stop after the bars close, the party goes on till the sun comes up! They do tell you its loud when you check in and give you earplugs. "

"Bed was comfortable but the pillows were hard and lumpy. More than one roll of toilet paper a day would have saved us from visting the front desk to get other rolls during our stay. Didn't like only having cold water to shower in. Pools would look more inviting if the bottoms were painted blue instead of the off-gray colour. Ladies on the front desk and the beach bar were pleasant and attentative. More sun shades over the beach lounges would be good and they would stop the birds from dropping their phoop on 'you' and the beach lounges. Breakfast was good; hot and a good selection of foods. Good central location to downtown and restaurants. "
