Book a hotel near Del Mar Horsepark, North City

"The location was closed to the beack, but to get there, you will need a walk about 1.5-2 miles because there is a bluff between the hotel and the beach, so you can't get there directly. Facility is very clean. While we were there the pool area was closed for renovation."

"This is a nice hotel. Beware the charges that are not clearly displayed at the time of booking. I paid $75 USD daily for parking and $65 USD daily for resort fees. This was an additional $135 USD daily that I was not aware of, which is significant for a 3 night stay. The location is good and the rooms were nice. The hotel just didn’t feel as hospitable as other luxury hotels I’ve stayed at. My expectations were much higher. "

"Easy check-in, friendly staff, clean room. The air didn't work in our room, but we had a nice outdoor breeze, so we didn't worry about it. I did inform the staff when checking out. The food at the cantina is a bit bland and pricey, but convenient. All in all a good stay. "

"The rooms are beautiful. Very modern/mid century with everything you need. A Nespresso machine with plenty of pods. A large beautiful walk-in shower with plenty of water pressure. The beds are very comfortable with soft linens. Two very plush robes, and more than enough towels, so you won't need to gather more day by day. There's a nice touch by leaving you two brand new water bottles that you can feel throughout the property in their filling stations.The rooms are quite large. There's a small couch as well as an area that you could work off of. The hotel is still going under some renovations on the property but other than having to check in at a location by the golf club you did not really notice. The property itself is very clean and well maintained. I expect that when the reception area is complete it also will be beautiful. The lighting in the room can be set to turn on and off when you enter and leave, so you're not fumbling for light switches in the middle of the night. The decor is really beautiful. The hallways leading to your room are immaculate. And there was plenty of parking. It really has become my favorite hotel in the Del Mar rancho Santa Fe area. "
