"My room was clean and convenient to where I parked my car. They had numerous excellent parking spaces. My room was very comfortable and had every amenity I could ask for, such as a refrigerator and a microwave. The staff was so helpful and so nice. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was excellent for my stay. The property also had an excellent restaurant. It made it convenient to walk over for dinner. This is the second time I've stayed there, and I would definitely stay there again. It's excellent!"

"The host was very accessible and helpful. The house was very clean and all the amenities stated were available to us. All the linens and towels were washed well and very fresh. We needed a place to stay for a wedding in Waupaca WI. and this place fit the bill. I would consider staying there again if planning a visit to the area."

"Our stay at Shadow Lake Retreat House was delightful! The house had everything we needed: cooking was a breeze in the large, fully stocked kitchen; having fun on the water with kayaks, paddle boards, & canoe; competing with the family at pool table, ping pong, and games; plus bicycles for exploring Waupaca, which is a great town. Erin is a wonderful host: helpful, local, and gracious!"

"The cabin was wonderful it self however, the area leading down to the lake could use some more steps or a better path. The few steps there were, were covered in mud. The pontoon itself worked great but could use a good cleaning. As fas as the lake, it is very clear but fishing was horrible, so I am not sure this is a well suited for fishing but still a good vacation."
