Friendly check-in; called in advance and requested early check-in - they said they’d do their best to accommodate- and they did - was able to get keys to room a couple hours before official check in time. They also have locked luggage storage room for guests. "

"A perfect start to our Hawaii trip! After a long day of travel from the mainland, we arrived at Kona Palace and were warmly greeted by Rebecca. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. After a good night's sleep, we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast served on the lanai with amazingly beautiful views. Rebecca provided fresh fruit from her property (including fresh-squeezed orange juice), homemade granola, eggs, taro rolls, and more. After breakfast, coffee, and good conversation, we were on our way, but I would have loved to have stayed here longer. 5 stars!"
