"We stayed four-nights in May 2025 at Casa Equatreasures. My family occupied three rooms. The hotel location is near good restaurants and cultural attractions, and also walkable to the San Francisco subway station. The neighborhood felt very safe to us (3 women, 2 men). The hotel has a central atrium that is a well lit socializing and reading space. Bedrooms were very clean and comfortable, and the attached bathrooms well appointed. Do not expect a luxury hotel. The rooms were spacious enough but not big. But, we were very comfortable and this was a base that felt like "home." Daily breakfasts gave us a welcome exposure to delicious, nutritious, and filling Andean cuisine. As good as the hotel was, the best aspect of our stay was interacting with our host, Hernan. His primary interest is for guests to be as comfortable as possible while experiencing all that Quito offers. He is a good listener and can offer travel advice tailored to each guest. I wish we had the energy to engage Hernan as a tour guide for a full day, but Quito's high elevation took us a lot of adjustment time. We will return to Casa Equatreasures next time. No need for us to search further!"
