I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Austin North and found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean but felt a bit dated for a Hilton brand — some maintenance and updates would really help. The location is convenient for highway access, though quite far from downtown or the main attractions. Free parking is a plus. Breakfast was good, but the continental option costs extra and the full hot breakfast comes with an additional charge. At this level, I think the continental breakfast should be complimentary. Overall, it’s a decent stay if you need to be in North Austin, but the hotel could use some modernization.

The staff messed up our reservation, and could not be bothered to fix it. The manager was pretty uncaring, and the front desk attendant was taking a personal phonecall while I was trying to get our issues resolved, and our hotel room didn't have the right amenities and also had torn furniture.

The first night was not good. The room had no hot water to wash your hands; the room was dark only one lamp. In the morning we noticed the ceiling was damaged.
