We didn’t even check in. There were too many people loitering in the parking lot smoking and drinking, and the second floor walkway looked like it was going to fall off the building. The parking lot was also very poorly lit. We didn’t feel safe and ended up sacrificing what we pre-paid and going elsewhere. We’ve stayed at Motel 6 plenty of times in the past, and usually found them to be basic, but clean and friendly; just fine for when you just need somewhere to sleep. We’re from Austin, but don’t live there now, and we’ve seen this property before even though we hadn’t stayed there. It seemed fine then - but not now.

The staff was sweet and kind. The room sucked cus of no refrigerator and no microwave. The people that were in the next room smoked pot and I am allergic!! Very allergic!! Cus of the drug people there was no changing room.

The front desk lady was nice. However, the motel wise is old and has cockroach on the floor. The water and everything was not as clean due to old appliances. For $168 for a double bed room. Of course giving $30 more, you could find a better place
