Never again!
My husband and I had just recently relocated to Atlanta. We use the credit we earned with hotels.com to book a weekly rental by West home. What a disappointment!
On 4 PM the time of our check-in, we received an email stating our unit was not ready because they were short staffed with cleaning and they would compensate us for the delay. Around 6 PM we reached out via text and phone number and waited for someone to call us back and it never happened. After waiting for four hours, we decided to go to the unit and see if we could get in only to be greeted by a cleaner. She stated that the unit was in terrible condition and it took her all day to clean it. She also said we should reach out to West home and get it another unit.
First thing we noticed, the unit did not match the photos in the listing. Out of the 10 pictures that were advertised may be only three matched the unit. The carpet, sofa, oven and microwave were filthy. It was 9 pm we were exhausted and I figured “ok, they will return my call/text” NEVER HAPPENED
(Remember I mentioned I called and left messages - still no return call by day 3, or 5, or 6.)
On the day of checkout, I sent a message asking for a late checkout, within an hour I received a flat “no” and a reminder of the 11 am checkout.
Needless to say, I won’t be renting from this company and will not recommend it.
