The place was so cozy. Great view of the smokies. What was perfect is that is was 5 minutes from everything. We went to the Biltmore one full day and the next all over downtown. The house was all decorated for Christmas. It could not have been more perfect!!!

Mountain Sunset view was wonderful. Marie was very nice and helpful.We were there to visit Biltmore and the location was great - only a 5 minute drive. Would definitely recommend it to others.

Our party of four could not have been more pleased with our stay at Nana’s Place! Clean, charming, well appointed, comfortable - our lodging checked all the boxes. The location is convenient to shopping and less than 1.5 miles from the Biltmore Estate. Our hosts Andrew and Marie went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. Our only regret is that our stay was not longer.

The house was great and in a great location that was very easy to get to even with a detour for construction. Very quiet neighborhood and the host was super helpful and quick to respond to questions. I would definitely stay again!

We so enjoyed staying at Nana's Place! The porch area was a perfect place to have a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The whole place was very clean. All the furniture was very nice and comfortable. I will be suggesting it highly to family and friends.

We loved this property! So many little different nooks to sit in (multiple seating and dining areas inside and outside the house). Gorgeous porch with mountain views! Really comfortable King bed; not too firm and not too soft; just right!! Great showers with plenty of hot water. Kitchen had everything needed to cook basic meals. The house was quiet except for the occasional ambulance or medical helicopter landing at the nearby hospital but didn't bother us. I worked remote on video calls for multiple days and had no issues; the internet worked well for me. We walked downtown in about 25 minutes. The roads right at the house are single lane with not many pull offs if there's oncoming traffic. We have a small car and didn't have any issues but at night it did feel a little tight when cars were approaching. Great location though, quiet neighborhood and we felt very safe!

We loved the convenient location and spent a lot of time on the open air deck. Very well stocked with everything we needed and the linens and bed were very comfortable! Perfect for 4 people to relax, get some work done, and have easy access to downtown Asheville, River Arts and Biltmore too. Friendly and accommodating host; we'll definitely be back!

The house was nice, but the porches were amazing with amazing views. We seen a mama bear and her five cubs walking in the backyard and then took off to the woods. It was a nice little getaway.

We had a great time at Nana’s place. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our 1.5 week long visit. We loved the huge deck and my young kids enjoyed exploring the terraced yard and searching for bears they thankfully never found! My only complaint is although the listing makes it clear the owner lives downstairs, it says “we do not share any of your space.” However this was not the case w the laundry room. It is in a utility room downstairs behind an access controlled door with another door leading to the owner’s space. Many of the times I went down there, the owner’s door was open or I worried about disturbing her so it made for a bit of an awkward situation. She was completely friendly about everything and we ended up working out a schedule but with 2 small kids having unlimited access to a washer/dryer was an amenity I specifically sought out when deciding on a rental. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend visiting! Thank you! :)

Ashville visit

This property was ideal for our visit to Ashville! Its location gave us great access to all we wanted to do! We enjoyed all the comforts of home allowing us to have a great visit with our out of state guests!!

Friend’s wedding weekend!

We had the best time staying here. We were in town for a friend’s wedding and this location was close to downtown and it was super easy to get Ubers/Lyfts for cheap prices. The place was super clean and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone coming to the area!

Awesome!

Felt like being at home. Super clean and stocked with literally anything you could need. Just bring your food and clothing. Five minutes to entrance for Biltmore. House is on a very steep roadway takes a little getting used to if not used to mountain living. House is close to a hospital so there is some helicopter and ambulance traffic but no issues at nighttime. Highly recommend. And we saw a bear with her cubs!
