This place was a trip! We never interacted with any staff so i can't comment on that. It was just a overnight stop but definitely our most unique stay. When you pull up you feel like you are on a movie set for a western. Rooms are all individually decorated and clean. The restaurant next door looked great although we had to get our food to go because we had our dog with us.

Sort of a cheap attempt at kitch. The restaurant was awful. Maybe the cheapest toughest steak I ever ordered. Noisy. An ok alternative to motel 6 or something along those lines.

We have stayed at the Big Texan multiple times and will continue to come back. The rooms are comfortable, great decor, THE best shower of any hotel (and we stay at lots!) The restaurant is an obvious choice for dinner and breakfast. Love the atmosphere. AND the place is very dog friendly, which we appreciate.

Don’t bother upgrading to deluxe room it’s no different than basic. Had a hair on my bed sheet when turning down the bed. Mold on bathroom ceiling.
