The Ako Park Hotel is the nearest to the town center of Ako and the only place to stay less than a quick drive away.
The Chisun Inn Himejiyumesakibashi is positioned 16 miles (25 kilometers) from the middle of Ako. If you would prefer another option, the Kifu No Sato can be found 20 miles (32 kilometers) away. The Hotel Limani as well as the LiVEMAX RESORT Setouchi Sea Front are some alternative bases around Ako.
During your stay in Ako, ensure you have enough time to explore some of Kinki's other attractions. Kinki is well known for beaches, lakes and mountains, and other popular sites are ruins, castles and traditional villages. Common things to do in this particular part of Japan include mountain biking, hiking and cycling.
50 miles (80 kilometers) from Ako, you will reach Arima Hot Springs, where you can explore Arima Toy Museum and Tosen Shrine. The Arimasansoh Gosho Bessho and Tocen Goshoboh are just some of the short and long-stay alternatives in Arima Hot Springs. Or, stay the night in Osaka Bayside, 60 miles (97 kilometers) to the east of Ako, where you'll find the Hotel Universal Port and Hyatt Regency Osaka. The Osaka Nanko Fishing Park and Sewerage Science Museum are a couple of the most frequented places to check out when in Osaka Bayside.
If experiencing the thrill of stadium sport is on your Ako bucket list, don't overlook a visit to Hanshin Koshien Stadium, located 55 miles (90 kilometers) to the east of Ako. Wise travelers who enjoy the idea of finding a hotel not far away, book a room in the Novotel Koshien Osaka West or Hotel Ritz Koshien.
