"The grounds of the hotel were beautiful. While the front of the hotel could use some renovation, the lobby was lovely, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was huge. One thing I didn’t like was that the closet space (without doors) was located in the bathroom, as I prefer not to have my clothes exposed to bathroom odors. There were two other areas I feel could be improved. First, our room had a beautiful balcony with amazing views, which I was able to enjoy briefly, but my husband could not because the balcony was dirty and only one chair was clean enough to use. I would recommend that balconies be cleaned thoroughly before guests arrive so everyone can enjoy them. Second, the hallways could benefit from more frequent vacuuming, and the staircases would look much better with a fresh coat of paint. Overall, everything else was great. These small issues are why I didn’t give a full 5-star rating, but I would still recommend this hotel."
